literature is among the the fundamental factors in the promotion and dissemination of any religion, and sometimes writers and poets of any era,have usedstylograph,expression, emotion, imaginationand powerto presenttheir religious beliefs, that’s why that a link can be made between literature and religion. shi’a poetry is one of the greatest branches of literature, that from the time of the presentation of islam, has had an important role in interpretation and expresion of the poets’ emotions for beliefs associated with shi’a.imam ali (as) is one of the greatest figures whompoems and writers in every ages in every language and dialect, have praised him. marouf abdolmajid, contemporary egyptian poet, after adopting to shi’a shool, allocated a large quantity of his collective poemsto the praise and eulogy of great imams (pbut), among them imam ali(as) had the most part in this poet’s poems.more than referring to ghadir khom, courage and mythsof imam ali (as), he mentioned his intercession and his testimonyplea. this study seeks to introducethe character of the poet, and study the eulogy of ali(as) in his collected poems, relying on descriptive - analytical methodology.
